Tell us what the thermostat is set to and what the house is reading. That helps the technician.
We can send the technician on call tonight or the next day. If it’s leaked before, tell us so he checks the drain pan and drain line.
One of the most common calls we get. On some newer systems a full pan shuts the system off, so it can look like the whole thing quit.
Newer systems have safety devices that shut the outdoor unit off when they sense a problem. A technician should check it.
Turn it off if it’s shaking or getting louder. That often points to the indoor blower.
Usually the system isn’t sending power to it. We’ll find out why.
We can add refrigerant to get you cooling again, but that’s a short-term fix. The real repair is finding and fixing the leak, best scheduled during regular hours so the technician has the time and materials to track it down.

Our technicians carry common parts like capacitors, contactors, motors, and refrigerant. Specialty parts or duct materials may have to be ordered or handled on a weekday visit.
We were just out and it’s doing the same thing? Call. We’ll send someone back. If it’s related to work we did, the return visit isn’t charged. If it’s a different problem, or a repair we recommended last time hasn’t been done yet, it’s billed as a regular service call.

Our technician tells you whether a repair will keep it running or whether replacing it makes more sense. If it’s time, we quote the American Standard system that fits.
Estimates on a new American Standard system are free. We look at your home, then go over the options. Repair visits carry a service fee.
Each quote lists what’s included. If something isn’t clear, like whether new refrigerant lines are part of it, the office confirms before you decide. To approve, use the approve-and-sign button in the estimate email. Replying to the email won’t reach the office.
Approved buyers may qualify for financing on a new system. Terms vary. Call and we’ll walk you through what’s available.
